About the role

Join Trane Technologies as a Manufacturing Engineer in McGregor, TX! In this role, you will operate innovative engineered systems and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. Your cross-functional team will be focused on delivering quality, safety, and operational efficiency improvements. The work is on-site (5 days).

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems, including investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.
  • Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve manufacturing operations.
  • Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.
  • Uphold manufacturing standards including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times.
  • Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.
  • Serve as a voice of the customer for input for new design development.
  • Develop, validate, and document manufacturing processes for Laser cutting systems, CNC, Panel Benders, Fin Presses, etc.
  • Partner with on-site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • PFMEA experience preferred.
  • Ability to accurately assess manufacturing issues related to process and design.
  • Effective communication at multiple levels coupled with ability to build relationships.
  • Process Automation and AutoCAD or similar design software experience.
  • Hands-on experience in CNC systems, laser cutting systems, Panel Benders, troubleshooting knowledge is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Oracle systems preferred.
  • Growth mindset – desire to expand technical skillset.
  • Results-driven to maintain accountability and customer-focus.
  • Degree preferred in Engineering or related technical disciplines; relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Pay

Annual Base Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $109,340.00. Compensation is salary-based and may vary depending on seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation.
