Manufacturing Planning Specialist

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Create production and material plans including inventory goals and schedules.
• Oversight of the master schedule and ensuring compliance with material requirements for manufacturing.
• Manage procurement planning for a medium-sized organization.
• Develop material cost strategies and coordinate target pricing with supply chain.
• Maintain and update forecasts in the production and material planning tool as needed.

Requirements

• Intermediate knowledge of MRP/ERP principles.
• Intermediate knowledge of concurrent engineering principles.
• Intermediate knowledge of government compliance regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong multi-tasking skills while maintaining focus on details.
• Ability to prioritize program material needs with supply chain and internal shops.
• Understanding of engineering changes and their impact on the bill of material.
• Ability to identify and research financial errors.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
