Manufacturing Planner Scheduler

About the role

The Manufacturing Planner Scheduler will oversee production scheduling and materials planning to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust master production schedules based on customer demand, sales forecasts, and inventory targets.
• Cook up with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
• Monitor work orders and production progress to identify potential bottlenecks or delays.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve scheduling conflicts or supply issues.
• Analyze inventory levels and recommend adjustments to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase planning accuracy and manufacturing efficiency.
• Communicate schedule updates, changes, and priorities to stakeholders across departments.
• Prepare and present regular planning and performance reports to management.

Requirements

• U.S. Person status required (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident) due to federal regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of planning/production scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Oracle ERP
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

APICS CPIM certification or similar is a plus. Experience with lean manufacturing principles. Advanced Excel or data analysis skills.
