Primary Responsibilities
- Plans, schedules, and coordinates production resources for a range of products with low to moderate complexity and/or number to meet the Master Production Schedule and/or customer orders.
- Solves manufacturing resource and material availability issues affecting schedule.
- Reviews ERP signals to plan Orders and priorities for the creation of Work Orders and allocate associated materials.
- Prepares weekly schedules aligning with MPS plans, which may include starting and completing Manufacturing.
- Communicates production priorities and follows up as needed.
- Supports the production team to meet Schedule Attainment Targets.
- Ensures Planning Parameters are reviewed every quarter (e.g., Safety Stock, Lot size, MOQ).
- Understands and meets Planning Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Attainment to Schedule (AtS), Schedule Attainment (SA), and Master Plan Attainment (MPS), and Work Order Aging Requirements.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of management and our Chinese counterparts.
- Team player, willing to help out co-workers and contribute to team projects.
- Must be willing to learn, self-motivated, and have a strong sense of initiative and urgency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- University/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of work experience working with MPS/MRP in a manufacturing environment.
- Supply Chain Certification (APICS) desirable.
- Computer literate: Excel is a must, Word and PowerPoint.
- Able to read and comprehend procedures and process instructions on drawings.
- Experience with ERP systems, SAP, and Windchill Doc is desired.
Qualifications
One World Technologies, Inc dba TTI Power Equipment, has an opening in its Anderson, SC office for an Import Material Planner. The position assists in finished goods planning from an international facility, analyzes business processes, and manages inventory.
