Manufacturing Planner Associate / Secret Clearance

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs including SAP, Microsoft office, and Apriso, or equivalent.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills.
• Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing and/or supply chain management.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS).
• Must have a Secret Clearance, therefore selected candidate must be a US Citizen.

Job Description

You will be the Manufacturing Planner Associate for the Production Planning & Control (PP&C) team. Our team is responsible for planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions and supporting program wide manufacturing activities across multiple Missiles & Fire Control sites.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and maintain MRP schedules to guarantee timely material delivery.
• Cook up with manufacturing locations to align production plans with program milestones.
• Analyze demand forecasts and adjust plans to mitigate supply chain risks.
• Generate reports on inventory status and production performance.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve planning discrepancies.

Desired Skills

• Past experience in any of the following areas: Make/Buy/BOM Planning, Supply Chain, or equivalent or experience in one area with an understanding of the other two.
• Ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.
• Windchill and MPMLink experience.
• Previous working experience with engineering drawings and parts lists.
• Inventory Control and material handling knowledge, including familiarity with material requirements and Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas of responsibility.
