Manufacturing Parts Assembler - 2nd Shift

About the role

We are seeking an experienced full-time Fabricator to weld and fabricate structural steel components using MIG and/or stick welding, following blueprints and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up fabrication tools and equipment
• Measure, cut, tack, weld, grind, and clean materials
• Read blueprints and weld symbols
• Operate welders, torches, drills, saws, and other shop equipment
• Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy
• Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness
• Report equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months fabrication experience preferred
• Production welding experience is a plus
• Ability to pass welding tests or certifications
• Proficiency with measuring tools and basic math
• Knowledge of fabrication equipment and hand tools
• Ability to work overtime or weekends when needed
• Knowledge of steel alloys and welding materials is preferred
