Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot multiple types of packaging equipment, including but not limited to:
  • carton erectors
  • partition inserters
  • product inserters (MPV, VPM, PLU)
  • foil dispensers
  • top closers
  • palletization equipment
• Manual responsibilities:
  • loading, building, and making boxes
  • hand packaging of bottles
  • loading labels
• Maintenance:
  • perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of equipment to ensure smooth operations
• Material Handling:
  • loading/unloading packaging materials such as corrugate, containers, or other raw materials
• Documentation:
  • accurately document records of finished goods, packaging specifications, or any visual quality checks
• Perform changeovers of diverse packaging equipment (e.g., case erector, partition inserter, top sealer)
• Apply correct labels
• Perform quality checks consisting of visual inspection of overall product, labels, and packaging integrity for defects
• Housekeeping
• Perform autonomous maintenance

Performance Metrics

• Maintain a labeling accuracy rate of 100% by consistently following all labeling procedures without deviation
• Perform all required quality checks with 100% completion and accuracy, identifying and reporting any defects per standard operating procedures
• Line clearance accuracy
• Autonomous maintenance completion

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred
• Capable of lifting 55 pounds and standing for a minimum of 12 hours
• Able to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneously
• High cleanliness standards for machines and work area
