About the role

Rich’s, a family-owned food company, is seeking a Machine Operator to control machinery that molds ice cream cakes in a safe, sanitary, cost-effective, and efficient manner. This role ensures compliance with company food safety and quality standards while maximizing product quality and supporting team production goals. The Machine Operator will also assist the Casting Lead in supervising cake molding on the assigned line.

Responsibilities

• Prepare casting materials and set up workstations.
• Ensure equipment operates efficiently while producing high-quality ice cream products in compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Perform tasks to maintain smooth process flow.
• Confirm the department follows safety practices and identify/correct potential hazards.
• Assist the Casting Lead as needed.
• Comply with GMP, safety, and food safety standards at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of machine operator experience.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel and Word.
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and use sound judgment in decision-making.
• Punctual and reliable work attendance.
• Ability to organize and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
• Flexibility and ability to manage others.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent English communication skills; bilingual speakers a plus.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $19.01
