About the role

The Manufacturing Operator position is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment and performing various tasks such as inspecting, data collection, trimming, testing, fixturing, assembling, and packaging products. This role also involves verifying product quality, ensuring compliance with specifications, and completing paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Verifies product visually and takes corrective action when necessary.
  • Ensures product consistency with established specifications.
  • Escalates quality issues as appropriate.
  • Ensures highest possible product quality and adherence to Entegris quality systems, ISO, and other standards.
  • Ensures all product is packaged according to specifications.
  • Performs various operations on the product in accordance with work orders and instructions.
  • Finalizes required paperwork thoroughly and timely (e.g., Production Reports, Rack Tickets, Labels, Component Sheets, Rework Sheets, SAP Transactions).
  • Maintains accurate attribute/variable charts of rejected materials.
  • Conducts variable charts on manufacturing processes and counts of good product as required.
  • Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the organization and production goals.
  • Integrates on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness, and product/system quality.
  • Promotes and implements the use of continuous improvement tools to eliminate non-value activities.
  • Participates actively in continuous improvement activities such as 6S, Kaizen events, etc.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area.
  • Wears required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Performs duties in a safe manner and observes approved safety procedures.
  • Communicates potential hazards immediately to supervisor.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Basic math computations and computer data entry skills.
  • Use of measuring devices and hand/power tools.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb a ladder up to 15 ft., walk and stand during shifts, pinch and grasp hand tools, twist, bend, reach upward, and handle small screws, washers, fasteners, etc.

Qualifications

All employees undergo 30 days of on-the-job training in a fast-paced, hard-working environment. Flexibility is expected as employees may work in various departments.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $21.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Shifts vary based on department needs, typically 8-hour shifts with rotating schedules.
