About the role

Vishay Thin Film is seeking a 2nd Shift Anneal Operator. This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations and is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” as defined by U.S. federal law.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plates for proper conditions before starting annealing process
• Anneal batches according to film type and TCR requirements
• Check nominal, TCR, and tracking to ensure they are within traveler specifications
• Make determinations of necessary annealing process adjustments for satisfactory product
• Stabilize according to film type to maintain film standards
• Responsible for reading ovens and decision making

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and write in order to interpret production documents and accurately record information
• Basic math skills required
• Basic problem-solving skills
