About the role
This Manufacturing Operator role is for night shift (6pm to 6am) and focuses on safe operations, mechanical skill, and supporting efficient plant performance.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate a forklift.
- Adjust calibration of machines, make general repairs, and clean/install molds and machinery parts to maintain safe operations.
- Use power and hand tools to maintain and repair equipment.
- Shovel, sweep, and rake debris from machinery bases.
- Communicate effectively with all personnel.
- Conduct forklift inspections to ensure safe operation and report issues to maintenance.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Strictly adhere to company policies, safety policies, and OSHA regulations.
- Travel and work from other company facilities as needed.
- Maintain a professional attitude while interacting with peers, contractors, and the general public.
- Stand for long periods in hot or varying weather conditions.
- Perform other related duties as required or directed.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate, understand, and follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and complete basic mechanical repairs.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular and timely attendance.
- Must pass pre-employment requirements, including drug screen and criminal background check.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong commitment to safety.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of related construction experience preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge and skills are preferred.
