Manufacturing Operator 3

Shift schedules alternate between 3- and 4-day work weeks, with each work day lasting 12.25 hours. Night shift applicants (6:00pm–6:15am) are strongly preferred.

• A Shift: 6:00am–6:15pm Sun, Mon, Tue, every other Wed
• B Shift: 6:00am–6:15pm Thu, Fri, Sat, every other Wed
• C Shift: 6:00pm–6:15am Sun, Mon, Tue, every other Wed
• D Shift: 6:00pm–6:15am Thu, Fri, Sat, every other Wed

About the role

Performs a variety of functions in the production of semiconductor devices, including using wafer fabrication tools and processes, testing product, and delivering product to work areas. Requires strict adherence to safety procedures and protocols. Uses written procedures and process specifications to complete assignments. Works collaboratively in a team environment to achieve production goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead in a team environment to maximize quality and throughput safely
• Understand customer and vendor relationships within the factory
• Train team members on process and equipment procedures
• Apply semiconductor manufacturing knowledge to prevent quality issues
• Use in-depth tool knowledge to drive highly productive equipment use and proactively manage tool issues
• Work on complex assignments requiring judgment and troubleshooting skills
• Make basic process decisions
• Handle assignments spanning multiple work areas
• Use broad job knowledge to drive operating improvements
• Work with minimal supervision and take team leadership roles to coordinate daily activities

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 5–9 years of related manufacturing experience
• 8–10 hours per day spent standing and walking
• Continuous lifting and moving of boxes weighing approximately 10 lbs
• Work in a cleanroom environment wearing a full-body cleanroom suit
• Wear additional Personal Protective Equipment when handling or working indirectly with hazardous materials

Pay

$20.50 – $25.00 per hour, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
