At Materion, everyone is included, respected and offered opportunity to grow. Join us! Under the direction of the Associate Supervisor, the Manufacturing Operator III sets up and operates manufacturing equipment associated with material fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Operate various equipment including rolling, milling, slitting, melting furnaces (solder casting), annealing furnaces, wire equipment, 2 Hi and 4 Hi cold/hot rolling machines, various saws, degreasers, and parts cleaners.
• Must be proficient using micrometers, calipers and measuring instruments.
• Roll to tolerances as close as +/- .0001, measuring thickness with a micrometer.
• Monitor and check product to maintain inventory levels and adherence to customer requirements for quality.
• Interface with Process Engineering as needed.
• Collect data and maintain various charts and all paperwork as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one-year equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Must have export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology under ITAR and EAR, which includes being a U.S. citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, person admitted as an asylee or refugee, national of a country not prohibited from accessing U.S. controlled technology (with letter of assurance), or person approved for an export license by the governing agency.
• Any job offer requiring export license approval is conditional on Materion’s ability to obtain an export license consistent with business requirements.

Pay

Pay Range $22.00 - $31.00. Actual base salary offered varies based on factors including relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
