Manufacturing Operator - 2nd Shift

About the role

Epredia, a global leader in precision cancer diagnostics, is hiring 2nd Shift Operators for its Kalamazoo manufacturing site. The role involves running equipment, performing routine quality checks, and ensuring smooth operation of manufacturing processes in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and package finished goods, including visual quality checks for defects, fill levels, and packaging integrity.
• Complete production work orders accurately.
• Perform equipment set‑up, change‑over, basic preventative maintenance, and cleaning of equipment, work area, and facility while complying with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) principles in all areas of responsibility.
• Participate in Practical Process Improvement (PPI), 5S, and other continuous‑improvement and lean projects.
• Follow safety and regulatory regulations, policies, and procedures, including proper lifting, bending, and twisting techniques.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lb.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), provide clear documentation, and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Fluency in English (spoken, read, and written) without assistance.

Pay

Starting compensation is $19.00 per hour, with a shift premium for 2nd shift.
