About the role

This role does not offer sponsorship for work authorization. External applicants must be eligible to work in the US. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available if hired.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle production, purification, and monitoring of chemical compounds using laboratory equipment and distributed control systems to meet strict customer demands.
• Charge solids, liquids, and gases to production vessels, complete preventative maintenance tasks, and utilize material handling equipment (pallet mules) for safe staging and destaging.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex day-to-day packaging and production malfunctions, taking swift corrective action upon approval to minimize operational downtime.
• Perform in-process analytical testing with simple data interpretations, accurately logging all information into lab notebooks and batch records following strict Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Utilize intermediate SAP knowledge to execute critical logistics functions, including entering work hours into PI sheets, managing material movements, and handling bills of materials.
• Actively foster a proactive safety and inclusive culture by identifying unsafe conditions, participating in incident investigations, and documenting actionable preventive suggestions.
• Champion 6S and Operational Excellence (OPEX) initiatives to optimize workflow efficiency, eliminate waste, and contribute directly to department goals.
• Verify the quality and integrity of all materials and equipment, while proactively suggesting necessary revisions or drafting new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• While performing job functions, employee will sit, stand, walk, reach above shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, or crawl for long periods of time.
• Will occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Use of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other Life Science discipline (preferred).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Basic math skills, including using the metric system.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
• Ability to learn how to use manual and automated equipment.

Pay

Pay range for this position: $21/hour - $39/hour. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses.

Schedule

Sunday – Thursday, 10:00pm–6:30am.
