Manufacturing Operating Technician - Bindery (We'll Train You)

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, run, and maintain all sections of the machine
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machine and auxiliary equipment
• Learn to interpret work instructions and accurately record production data
• Exercise initiative, ask questions, and look for ways to improve productivity

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
• Ability to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Reliable attendance and ability to work well with a team
• Pride in doing quality work

Preferred Qualifications

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift
• Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor
• Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally

Pay

$19.00 / hour

First (day) shift, full-time, on-site
