Manufacturing Operating Technician - Bindery

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, run, and maintain all sections of the bindery machine.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to the machine and auxiliary equipment.
• Interpret work instructions and accurately record production data.
• Exercise initiative, ask questions, and look for ways to improve productivity.

Requirements

• No bindery experience required – we will train you.
• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Ability to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.).
• Take pride in doing quality work.
• Show up reliably and work well with a team.
• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Print, bindery, or finishing experience is a plus.
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment is a plus.

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift.
• Fast‑paced, team‑oriented production floor.
• Lift up to 25 lb regularly and up to 50 lb occasionally.

Compensation

$19.00 per hour.

Additional $1.00 per hour shift differential.
