Main Responsibilities
- Perform assessments for process changes and related investment requirements for cost studies
- Oversee engineering scope definition, Requests for Quotes (RFQ’s), sourcing, technical evaluations, design, manufacturing, and installation of air/mist/coolant collectors and filtration
- Manage and prioritize the Non-New Model (NNM) powertrain programs requests and ensure that approved programs are completed on time and within budget
- Manage all New Model (NM) program’s facilities aspects including site preparation and machine installation
- Lead Flow activities on programs ensuring successful implementation and tracking of the Iron Triangle (Scope, Timing, and Cost)
- Lead their team in the implementation of Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) methodology, supporting all activities including deployment of advanced SIS tools and guide systematic root cause problem solving methods to attack risks
- Development/improvement of process and equipment standards related to facilities infrastructure
- Support the Engine Manufacturing Plants located in Dundee (MI), Trenton (MI), Kokomo (IN) and Saltillo (MX); Transmission Plants in Kokomo and Tipton (IN); Casting Plants in Kokomo (IN) and Etobicoke (ON), while maintaining a relationship with the Global CoC initiatives
- Lead procurement, design, build, install, qualification and launch of facilities and process supporting equipment and infrastructure
- Support Stellantis Industrial System initiatives
- Center of Competency facilities support for NAFTA region
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in a related technical discipline OR high school diploma/GED with minimum THREE (3) years of experience in Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
- Strong oral, written, presentation and organizational skills
- Ability to translate technical data and analysis into an executive summary format for presentation in easily understandable formats
- Knowledge of advanced problem-solving skills and ability to manage data analysis to identify root causes and attack them to closure
- Knowledge of cost studies and strategic planning
- Moderate to advanced Microsoft Office knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or technical equivalent
- Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Preferably 10 years manufacturing experience, Powertrain Manufacturing experience a plus
- Preferably 5 years’ experience in program management or multi-tasking environment
