Responsibilities
Kodak is looking for a Manufacturing Mechanic to join our team.
- Machinist required to repair, maintain, install and make improvements to chemical processing equipment and machinery (includes pumps, agitators, fans, centrifuges, etc.)
- Ability to fabricate to exact tolerances using lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other shop equipment
- Execute preventive maintenance program
- Calibrate, align and make adjustments to production equipment
- Work hours are Mon. – Fri., 8 hour days (40 hours/week) with occasional overtime
- Available for call in on off hours as needed to make equipment repairs
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance software tools.
Qualifications
- HS diploma
- Field machinist or millwright training and demonstrated experience
- Mechanical equipment repair training and/or demonstrated experience: pumps, mechanical seals, agitators, gear boxes, fans (bearings, sheaves), alignment
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Able to work from heights from a ladder or man lift
- Demonstrate effective analytical troubleshooting skills
- Able to read and interpret mechanical/machine drawings
- Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Excellent safety record – places safety and environment as top priority in all work
- Knowledge of Lock Out / Tag Out
- Good communication skills – daily communications with maintenance planner, technical staff and operations as needed.
- Good team player –flexible, willing to work in other areas and with other trades as needed.
Qualifications Include
- 2 year schooling and/or 5 plus years of demonstrated experience
