Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed production and packaging equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on:
- Conveyors and automated production equipment
- Motors, drives, pumps, and gearboxes
- Bearings, chains, and sprockets
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Industrial electrical systems (480V / 3-phase)
- Diagnose mechanical failures and replace or repair defective components.
- Fabricate and install machine parts, guards, brackets, and equipment modifications as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and machine rebuilds.
- Partner with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- 5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, diesel repair, heavy equipment, fleet maintenance, military mechanics, or a related field.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, and production equipment.
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience, including 480V and 3-phase systems, is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team.
- Strong sense of urgency and pride in producing quality work.
