Manufacturing Material Handler, 2nd shift

About the role

We have an opportunity for a temporary Manufacturing Material Handler to join our New Brighton, MN team. You will prepare materials in an accurate manner from the supermarket to support the production schedule. You will also be responsible for replenishment of material through material pick lists and visual replenishment signals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials for customer orders to production on a timed, consumption-based delivery within the facility.
• Support and promote Lean/5S continuous improvement and safety standards.
• Utilize appropriate equipment (forklift, tugger, WAV, etc.) to pick, deliver, and put away materials.
• Learn Pentair’s products and basic product structures.

Requirements

• Experience operating forklift, pallet jacks, and tugger.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist.
• Steel-toed footwear is required.

Schedule

2nd Shift: 2:30pm – 1:00am, Monday – Thursday. Overtime as needed.

Pay

The hourly pay for this role is $20.00/hour, plus $0.75/hour shift differential while working on 2nd shift. Opportunity for a rate increase after proficiency in certain skills and completion of training.
