Manufacturing Manager
Pay Rate: $118,400 - $157,800. Multiple factors, including individual experience, skills, and abilities, will determine placement within the pay range. Eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan with potential for additional financial awards.
Category/Shift: Salaried Full-Time. Physical Location: White Bear Lake, Minnesota.
About the Role
Provide leadership, coordination, and competencies that guide the manufacturing team and processes in safety, productivity, housekeeping, customer satisfaction, cost effectiveness, and people systems. Promote continuous improvement and the use of reliable methods within the manufacturing organization.
Responsible for the development and achievement of the manufacturing business plan and overall cost effectiveness of the manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and direct the performance of all manufacturing activities, including throughput, cost and waste control, maintenance, quality, inventory control, and meeting budgeted production metrics.
- Ensure all safety and reliable methods are in place.
- Implement and maintain systems to drive manufacturing improvements.
- Lead, coach, motivate, and engage work teams to accomplish operational objectives.
- Ensure all management, manufacturing, maintenance, and human resources systems are current, effectively utilized, and improved where possible.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with EPA regulations.
- Actively develop employees through training, coaching, and performance review feedback.
Requirements
- BS/BA in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- In-depth knowledge of corrugated packaging manufacturing processes and technology.
