About the Role
Thermacell is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Line Operator to support our growing manufacturing business. This role reports to the Manufacturing Management Team and involves operating manufacturing equipment, assembling packaging, inspecting materials, and performing warehouse functions.
This position is non-exempt and located at 3157 Buford Highway, Buford, GA 30518. The candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a full-time basis; the company does not sponsor work authorization now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate production lines, assembly machines, conveyors, and packaging machinery.
- Complete productivity reports detailing the number of parts or products made during each shift.
- Adhere to all manufacturing standard operating procedures.
- Perform Quality Control checks, including inspecting and testing finished products for defects and quality assurance.
- Develop and adhere to equipment centerline and running line standards.
- Follow equipment and process troubleshooting methodologies (e.g., Why-Why, 5W+2H) and make basic equipment repairs.
- Ensure adherence to manufacturing key performance indicators.
- Perform production assembly operations.
- Utilize RF gun/scanning systems and interact with tracking systems.
- Perform changeovers and make process adjustments.
- Meet company productivity and quality standards.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Maintain a clean work area to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Adhere to established safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Mechanical skills, including mechanical comprehension, knowledge, and basic electronics.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating packaging equipment.
- Self-starter and fast-learner with the ability to be proactive and plan accordingly.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand/walk for 8 to 12 hours.
- Ability to read and comprehend production order requirements.
- Basic math skills.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
- Driver’s License required.
Schedule
Standard working hours are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Extended hours during busy season and occasional Saturdays may be required.
Pay
Compensation for this position is $18.07/hour, with an Annual Target Bonus and Quarterly Incentive Bonus opportunity.
