Manufacturing Leadership-Chemical

We are seeking experienced people leaders to motivate teams, champion PPG’s culture, and drive operational excellence in complex manufacturing environments across multiple Ohio plants. These roles report directly to an on-site or regional manager.

Responsibilities

• Develop an engaged organizational culture committed to operational and manufacturing excellence.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and guide change programs using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts.
• Promote a safety culture and monitor Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) performance to ensure compliance and swift corrective action.
• Support associate personal and professional development.
• Lead root-cause analysis for critical issues and ensure corrective actions are completed, sustained, and yield predicted results.
• Engage diverse partners across the facility and with corporate or business leaders to align on goals and communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, or MBA.
• 10+ years of industrial operations or engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of team management experience.
• Experience leading Capex projects.
• Experience with the production of resins, paints, coatings, or technical films.
• Six Sigma or Lean certifications.

Pay

Salary range: $100,000–$140,000, depending on role.
