About the role
As a Manufacturing Lead at TerrAscend, you will oversee the production processes, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring new employees and maintaining a safe work environment.Responsibilities
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Train and mentor new employees to ensure they understand and adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing safety guidelines and conducting regular inspections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize production workflows.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain documentation as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production management role.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Strong knowledge of quality control and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of automation and robotics technologies.
