Manufacturing Laboratory Supervisor (1141672)

Responsibilities

• Perform quality testing on inbound and outbound products
• Supervise blending personnel
• Lead project management for blending/bulk distribution
• Quality Management Systems coordinator including ISO 9001 program
• Maintain production schedule and purchase raw materials (bulk production and lab)
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as well as maintain equipment maintenance intervals
• Act as bulk inventory control coordinator
• Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.

Requirements

• Minimum B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or Related Field
• 2+ years of Laboratory experience - preferably within fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Previous experience with production scheduling and lean six sigma - preferred
• Experience Running / Calibrating Lab Tests | ICP, Viscosity, NOACK, Cold Crank, Crackle preferred
• Strong communication/presentation skills
• Computer Skills - specifically Excel, Power Point, SAP and Quality Management Software
