About the role
The responsibilities of a Manufacturing Technician are to support the laboratory staff with the process of hematology products and components. This position will perform a variety of tasks within a laboratory setting that may include component fixation, separation and washes, and blending products according to approved protocols.
Responsibilities
- Assist with processing of animal and human blood.
- Perform component procedures as assigned.
- Ensure that product/components are manufactured according to deadline.
- Monitor reagent and supply inventory.
- Clean and maintain work areas in accordance with procedures.
- Accurately complete and maintain required documents in accordance with procedures.
- Display a willingness to learn new concepts and techniques.
- Follow company policies and practices and follow guidelines regarding safety.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years laboratory experience.
- Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
- Ability to follow procedures and knowledge of nonconformance.
- Ability to handle blood.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices.
- Knowledge of SOPs and lab procedures.
- This position requires work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States (e.g., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant work status).

Pay
Pay Range $18.40 - $25.30
