Manufacturing IT Project Manager

Role Scope / Deliverables

Manages key project deliverables for validated environments.
Patch management and system upgrades
Validated report implementation and metrics
Validated interfaces with other systems
Ongoing PPI process improvement for platform
Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress of projects
Covers multiple-site projects within program scope by overseeing all aspects of projects based on the VMP.

Requirements

• Ability to work with limited guidance in a matrixed, complex environment while owning responsibility for outcomes of the OMX program/ site projects – remote management, self-directed management, and drive are critical
• Demonstrates the ability to help guide and lead the work of others
• Buils strong teams who are willing to go beyond expected or assigned roles
• Possesses a basic understanding and acumen of IT systems, environments, and processes
• Excellents interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to interact effectively with others internal and external to the Company
• Drives changes to the project scope and schedule while maintaining SDLC/ Validation requirements
• Strong presentation skills with proven experience delivering formal presentations to various levels of management
• Self-motivated and independent thinker who can translate circumstances and understanding into actions that move the business forward; ability to work independently without significant direction
• Excellent critical thinking, troubleshooting, crisis management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to do the right thing under pressure and tight deadlines in a complex, matrixed environment
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of other personal styles
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and team members in other departments/ teams over which the Project Manager has no direct managing authority
• Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for driving execution at a detailed level, while still maintaining the ability to see the big picture
