About the role
Support electronics manufacturing by maintaining and improving production test equipment, fixtures, calibration processes, and manufacturing systems.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on electronic test fixtures and tools.
- Validate and analyze equipment failures, support process improvements, and maintain documentation.
- Mentor technicians and participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Maintain and develop manufacturing tools, fixtures, and systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with engineering teams.
- Ensure manufacturing quality through documentation and testing.
- Provide mentorship and training of team members.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Electrical or Electronics Technology (or equivalent).
- 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with electronic test equipment, manufacturing fixtures, and PCBAs.
- Knowledge of PCB assembly processes.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LabVIEW, test systems, DOE, FMEA.
- Familiarity with quality standards like IPC and ISO.
