We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to help drive manufacturing performance, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to engineering projects in a highly collaborative environment. About the role

As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you'll partner closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Quality teams, and Production personnel to improve processes, resolve technical issues, and support manufacturing excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, tooling, and process-related issues to minimize downtime and support production goals.
  • Conduct time studies and analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste and increase productivity.
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
  • Design, build, and modify fixtures, tooling, and test equipment to support manufacturing operations.
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineers with projects, process improvements, and engineering initiatives.
  • Perform testing, data collection, and process validation activities.
  • Update and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process records.
  • Support equipment qualification activities and troubleshooting efforts across production areas.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action efforts.

Requirements

  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering technician, maintenance, or process-support environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment, such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, electronics, or other FDA/ISO-regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of electronic systems, test equipment, and basic diagnostic techniques.
  • Experience working with pneumatic systems and equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work hands-on with equipment and tooling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience developing and executing test plans.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience supporting process validations, equipment qualifications, or manufacturing improvement projects.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $55,000.00 - $58,000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Schedule

This is a permanent, fully onsite position based in Saint Paul, MN.
