Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of our production systems Essential Functions Design and develop manufacturing systems and processes to improve efficiency and performanceMaintain and support both existing and newly implemented systemsDevelop, document, and update work instructions and standard operating proceduresCoordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, manage follow-ups, and support procurement activitiesCollaborate closely with Team Leads to understand operational needs and implement effective solutionsDeliver training to personnel on systems, processes, and best practicesTroubleshoot if necessary, processes and/or systemsCoordinate equipment maintenance and repair services and make sure that manufacturer’s procedures and instructions are followed in order to keep production equipment operational.Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency. Additional Duties This person has the authority and responsibility to report product or procedural non-conformances as they are recognized. This person is a key contributor to the Quality System in the area of Document Control.This person will ensure that all production systems meet safety requirementsAssist other areas as requested. Education/Skill/Experience Strong problem-solving and communication skillsSome college in related field is preferredAbility to work cross-functionally with operations and production teamsExperience in a manufacturing environment is preferredProgramming experience is not required; however, familiarity with Python is a plus Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
