Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor manufacturing engineering technicians and production staff to achieve departmental goals
• Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Cook up troubleshooting activities to resolve production issues efficiently
• Drive continuous improvement projects focused on process efficiency, quality enhancement, and cost reduction
• Manage resource allocation, scheduling, and workflow within the manufacturing engineering team
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to support new product introductions and process changes
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
• Oversee documentation and maintenance of technical records and standard operating procedures
• Provide training and development opportunities to team members
• Participate in strategic planning and contribute to long-term manufacturing engineering goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in CAD software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience working with fibre-reinforced plastics (FRP) manufacturing is an advantage
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
