Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing a team of manufacturing engineers and programmers to support safe, efficient, and reliable production. This role is accountable for prioritizing engineering work, supporting day-to-day operations, and driving continuous improvement in alignment with company objectives.

Salary Range
$107,000 – $130,000 per year (Exempt role)
Shift Schedule
1st shift Monday – Friday Business Hours

What You Will Do
- Leads and develops manufacturing engineers and programmers, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and accountability
- Prioritizes and directs engineering activities to support production needs, balancing daily support with longer-term improvement initiatives
- Provides direct engineering support to operations to improve throughput, reduce downtime, and stabilize processes
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost using lean manufacturing principles
- Collaborates with operations leadership to identify, prioritize, and resolve production challenges
- Safeguards equipment implementation and process validation to ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are achieved
- Manages engineering resources and external support as needed to meet business objectives
- Supports quality systems, root cause investigations, and corrective actions related to process performance
- Reviews and approves engineering documentation for accuracy and completeness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating manufacturing engineering resources in a production environment
- Proven ability to build, develop, and hold a team accountable to performance expectations
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, with preference for metal fabrication environments
- Experience applying lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, continuous improvement, waste reduction) to drive measurable results
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with operations leadership and influence cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of process control methods, standard work, and process documentation
- Strong project execution skills with the ability to drive initiatives to completion
- Effective verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated commitment to reinforcing and supporting a strong safety culture
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and Word
