Manufacturing Engineering Facilities Technician
Brief Description
We are currently looking to add a Manufacturing Engineering/Facilities Technician to our team in St. Cloud, MN. In this role, you will support the reliability, maintenance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and supporting infrastructure. This role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, equipment qualification, and facility support activities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. The position partners with Manufacturing Engineering and Facilities leadership to improve equipment performance, minimize downtime, and support organizational objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
What can I expect in this role?
This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and is a non-exempt role.
Some key duties in this role include:
Manufacturing Engineering Technician
Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled PMs on manufacturing equipment (e.g., assembly machinery, conveyors, automation systems) to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical failures on production machinery, reducing downtime.
Equipment Qualification: Execute Installation Qualifications, for new equipment, per an approved plan.
Continuous Improvement: Support engineering with data collection, process troubleshooting, and implementing equipment modifications to enhance production throughput.
Facility Maintenance Technician
Facilities Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC units, lighting, compressed air systems, and plumbing.
Minor Repairs: Perform general facility repairs, such as electrical repairs (ballasts, outlets), plumbing, or minor building carpentry.
Site Safety & Support: Ensure a safe and clean working environment, support facility security and respond to building-related emergency alarms.

Education and/or experience required
Technical diploma, Associate degree, or equivalent hands-on experience (mechanical, manufacturing, electrical, etc.) preferred.
2+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, or similar environment required.
Experience using hand tools and basic equipment required.
Experience with electrical assembly, wiring, or electromechanical systems preferred.
HVAC, boiler, or facility maintenance experience preferred.
Experience with preventative maintenance programs preferred.
Experience in regulated environments (medical device, aerospace, etc.) preferred.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

$26.96 – $33.70 per hour based on education and experience
