About the role

This role supports the analysis and management of engineering change and problem report processes for complex defense systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform upfront analysis of internal and external problem reports related to the design, development, and production of complex systems.
  • Monitor assigned program items to ensure they progress through established systems and workflows.
  • Attend required program meetings and assist in facilitating Review Board meetings as needed.
  • Support assigned programs by preparing reports for system accuracy, metrics, and audit purposes.
  • Respond to questions from system users regarding workflow processes and resolve issues within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
  • Troubleshoot issues within the Change Management process and supported program workflows.
  • Participate in team projects and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered: High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
  • Associate's Degree with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree with no prior professional experience required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks.
  • Able to analyze problems and troubleshoot workflow and process issues.

Qualifications

  • Department of Defense (DoD) experience preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
  • Experience using Product Data Management (PDM) software, preferably PTC Windchill, preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP preferred.
  • Experience supporting process optimization or continuous improvement initiatives preferred.

Pay

$38.00 - $42.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
