About the role
This role supports the analysis and management of engineering change and problem report processes for complex defense systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform upfront analysis of internal and external problem reports related to the design, development, and production of complex systems.
- Monitor assigned program items to ensure they progress through established systems and workflows.
- Attend required program meetings and assist in facilitating Review Board meetings as needed.
- Support assigned programs by preparing reports for system accuracy, metrics, and audit purposes.
- Respond to questions from system users regarding workflow processes and resolve issues within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
- Troubleshoot issues within the Change Management process and supported program workflows.
- Participate in team projects and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered: High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
- Associate's Degree with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree with no prior professional experience required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks.
- Able to analyze problems and troubleshoot workflow and process issues.
Qualifications
- Department of Defense (DoD) experience preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
- Experience using Product Data Management (PDM) software, preferably PTC Windchill, preferred.
- Experience with Oracle ERP preferred.
- Experience supporting process optimization or continuous improvement initiatives preferred.
