Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead site operations, drive continuous improvement, and support production scale-up initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing manufacturing engineering and maintenance functions, focusing on process design, ergonomics, capacity analysis, and performance optimization.
• Managing full operational and performance responsibilities for a manufacturing facility, ensuring alignment with site objectives and industrial strategy.
• Leading and developing a diverse team, managing budgets, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensuring industrial process effectiveness across various technologies, managing maintenance teams, and adhering to safety and compliance standards.
• Driving TPM strategies for tool maintainability and identifying medium- and long-term improvement opportunities using lean diagnostics.
• Defining organizational structures for new projects or production adjustments, emphasizing cost efficiency.

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and maintenance.
• Proven leadership in team management, performance development, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience managing budgets, CapEx, OpEx, and driving operational results through lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Expertise in asset reliability, TPM practices, CMMS/EAM systems, and safety regulations.

This role involves minimal travel and requires a proactive leader committed to operational excellence, safety, and sustainable manufacturing practices.
