Manufacturing Engineer - Tooling Engineer

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer – Tooling Engineer position at FCA Group is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing tools and processes to support production efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new manufacturing tools and processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate tooling systems into existing assembly lines
• Manage tooling implementation projects from concept to completion
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for tooling issues
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of tooling designs and processes
• Stay current with technological advancements in tooling design and manufacturing processes

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in a related technical discipline and 3 years of experience -or- High School Diploma / GED and 10 years’ experience in the area of General Assembly system integration and support.
• Strong knowledge of TeamCenter, AMPs, and MEDDS
• Ability to manage tooling implementation
• Budgeting experience
• Being Creative and innovative in tooling design
