About the role
The Manufacturing Engineer – Tooling Engineer position at FCA Group is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing tools and processes to support production efficiency and quality.Responsibilities
- Design and develop new manufacturing tools and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate tooling systems into existing assembly lines
- Manage tooling implementation projects from concept to completion
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for tooling issues
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of tooling designs and processes
- Stay current with technological advancements in tooling design and manufacturing processes
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in a related technical discipline and 3 years of experience -or- High School Diploma / GED and 10 years’ experience in the area of General Assembly system integration and support.
- Strong knowledge of TeamCenter, AMPs, and MEDDS
- Ability to manage tooling implementation
- Budgeting experience
- Being Creative and innovative in tooling design
