Responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers while promoting a “People First” approach.
- Conduct observation and analysis of personnel and work procedures to determine time-and-motion requirements.
- Analyze work study data and equipment specifications to establish time and production standards for costing and labor reporting.
- Change routing sequence of products due to machine changes, design changes, quality enhancement, or ergonomic improvement.
- Troubleshoot shop problems associated with new or existing tooling and equipment.
- Process change orders.
- Assist in the training of all production personnel.
- Propose improvements for safety and ergonomics.
- Develop process improvement projects based on 1- or 2-year paybacks.
- Estimate and/or establish costs of new or existing products or projects.
- Create, edit, delete, and prove out ISO/EIA CNC programs from existing programs.
- Maintain the 6S program throughout the shop.
- Conduct and develop set-up times using video monitoring.
- Perform backup supervision for all factory departments, including short-notice schedule changes.
- Analyze, plan, design, construct, and apply tools, methods, and procedures to increase manufacturing productivity, profit, safety, and ergonomics.
- Process and create prototypes requested by Product Engineering and Innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. /B.S.) in Industrial Technologies or related field.
- Two to four years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
