Manufacturing Engineer Technician II - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers while promoting a “People First” approach.
• Conduct observation and analysis of personnel and work procedures to determine time-and-motion requirements.
• Analyze work study data and equipment specifications to establish time and production standards for costing and labor reporting.
• Change routing sequence of products due to machine changes, design changes, quality enhancement, or ergonomic improvement.
• Troubleshoot shop problems associated with new or existing tooling and equipment.
• Process change orders.
• Assist in the training of all production personnel.
• Propose improvements for safety and ergonomics.
• Develop process improvement projects based on 1- or 2-year paybacks.
• Estimate and/or establish costs of new or existing products or projects.
• Create, edit, delete, and prove out ISO/EIA CNC programs from existing programs.
• Maintain the 6S program throughout the shop.
• Conduct and develop set-up times using video monitoring.
• Perform backup supervision for all factory departments, including short-notice schedule changes.
• Analyze, plan, design, construct, and apply tools, methods, and procedures to increase manufacturing productivity, profit, safety, and ergonomics.
• Process and create prototypes requested by Product Engineering and Innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.A. /B.S.) in Industrial Technologies or related field.
• Two to four years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
