Manufacturing Engineer (SG 23)

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer at PACCAR Engine Company is responsible for the implementation, monitoring, improvement, and support of new and existing processes in their area of focus. Key responsibilities include developing new and improved manufacturing processes, achieving stability in engine-related processes, managing equipment, conducting time and work sequence studies, and facilitating effective communication to plant management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven problem-solving skills
• Excellent technical, verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Proven ability to work in a self-directed and team-based environment is preferred
• B.S. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or similar)
• 1-2 years Automotive Manufacturing Experience
• Desired: Practical application of Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma tools
• Desired: M.S. Degree in Engineering or MBA
• Desired: Black Belt Certified
