Responsible for
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting the design, development, and optimization of new manufacturing cells.
- Advancing the facility’s digital backbone, including MES integration, machine connectivity, and real-time data enablement, to strengthen process capability and operational visibility.
- Contributing engineering expertise to the RISE transformation initiative, supporting modernization of legacy operations, footprint consolidation, and major cost-reduction efforts.
- Partnering cross-functionally with Operations, CI, Maintenance, IT/OT, and Engineering to ensure scalable, efficient, and future-ready manufacturing processes.
Essential Job Functions
- Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization
- Lead Lean-based improvement projects targeting throughput, scrap reduction, productivity, and safety.
- Conduct time studies, workflow analyses, and value stream mapping to identify bottlenecks.
- Develop standardized work, PFMEAs, and process documentation.
- Sponsor kaizen events and Lean problem-solving.
- New Cell & Process Design
- Lead concept-to-launch activities for new or redesigned manufacturing cells.
- Develop layouts, material flow strategies, ergonomic designs, and equipment specifications.
- Validate new processes through trials and capability studies.
- Digital Backbone & MES Integration
- Support implementation of machine connectivity and digital data capture.
- Collaborate with IT/OT teams on MES deployment and system validation.
- Improve traceability, OEE visibility, and automated reporting.
- RISE Project Support (Legacy Business Transformation)
- Contribute engineering support to the RISE project focused on modernization, process optimization, footprint consolidation, and cost reduction.
- Aid with layout changes, equipment moves, process redesign, and implementation of modern manufacturing standards.
- Ensure digital backbone and MES advancements align with RISE transformation objectives.
- Technical Support & Collaboration
- Provide technical support to Operations, Maintenance, and Quality.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Support capital projects and equipment commissioning.
Who we are looking for
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 2–5+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering or CI experience.
- Experience with Lean tools, MES systems, CAD, and digital manufacturing systems.
