Manufacturing Engineer III

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Manufacturing Engineer III with our power technology client in North Charleston, SC. This is a 6-month contract with a potential for extension. Pay: $47.00 - $52.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship. Schedule: Onsite role with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Description:Study time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rate and improve efficiencyInterpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standardsRead worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets, to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specificationsAid in planning work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delaysPrepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilizationObserve workers using equipment to verify that equipment is being operated and maintained according to quality assurance standardsObserve workers operating equipment or performing tasks to determine time involved and fatigue rate using timing devicesEvaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards Qualifications:Research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes.Have the ability to make engineering drawings and read and interpret blueprints.The technical skills include the ability to make sketches and engineering drawings and have experience using computer applications related to the engineering field.Education/Experience bachelor’s degree in engineering required 5-7 year’s experience required Responsibility level Exercises independent judgment with direction from supervisorSkills Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability (Required).Team player and detail oriented (Required).Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations (Typically required).Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports (Typically required).Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) (Typically required) **Additional Notes** The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating stations and projects, as well as updating layouts. Candidates should hold a degree in Industrial Engineering and have a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and 3D simulation software is also required. Once the manager is ready to move forward, they will begin scheduling 45-minute Zoom interviews.
