Manufacturing Engineer III

Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III based in Indianapolis, IN. The Manufacturing Engineer III is responsible for independently leading and executing complex engineering projects, driving improvements in manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and product quality while serving as a technical resource and mentor within the operations team.

Hiring Salary Range

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $100,000 - $130,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

What You Will Do

• Independently analyze, design, and refine complex manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, improve product quality, and reduce cost
• Lead cross-functional projects related to automation, process development, or capacity expansion
• Serve as a senior technical expert to resolve difficult or recurring production issues and guide operators and junior engineers
• Drive and mentor lean initiatives including kaizen events, value stream improvements, and Six Sigma projects

What We Require

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering roles
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline
• Demonstrated success in leading complex projects, implementing process improvements, and providing technical guidance
• Strong background in troubleshooting, lean manufacturing, automation, and cross-functional collaboration
