Duties

  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.
  • Analyze complex production challenges and develop innovative solutions using data-driven methodologies.
  • Collaborate with design, quality, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new products and processes into manufacturing.
  • Oversee the design and optimization of production layouts, tooling, and workflows for maximum productivity and safety.
  • Serve as a technical mentor to junior engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Manage large-scale projects, including capital equipment installations, process automation, and lean transformation initiatives.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies, materials, and methods to maintain a competitive edge in HVAC manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in engineering practices.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, cost analyses, and project updates to leadership.

Requirements

  • Requires a four-year ABET-accredited degree in engineering or an equivalent technical degree in applied sciences; 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role within the HVAC or a similar industry; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Advanced certifications in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or project management preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of manufacturing systems, process engineering, and production optimization.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in interpreting complex technical drawings and specifications.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with lean tools, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience
