Manufacturing Engineer I
About the role
The role involves direct support of manufacturing activities and requires spending time in and around factory areas. The ideal candidate will possess skills across the program lifecycle including proposals, engineering and manufacturing development, and initial production along with planning for future sustainment activities.
Responsibilities
- Design, control, and improve the manufacturing process through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team
- Improve cycle time and lead time
- Implement manufacturing process control and performance monitoring
- Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
- Perform hardware defect analysis
- Design and fabricate Test Fixtures and Test Stations
- Experience taking complex measurements with different measurement tools
- Develop Test Fixture and Test Station drawing packages
Qualifications
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years of prior experience
- Experience working in a depot or manufacturing environment
- Experience developing and writing work instructions

Pay
The salary range for this role is 62,900 USD - 119,700 USD.
