In this position, you will be responsible for supporting Production in meeting their Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery goals. The use of Engineering principles and CI tools will be used to develop future state plans, provide capital project proposals and execute the 12-month operating plan. As Manufacturing Engineer, you will also support projects and equipment acquisition. Knowledge of layout planning, work procedures, cost impacts, crewing guidelines, and takt time impact are crucial to successful support.
About the Role
You will join an Engineering team, comprised of Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering Technicians, to support initiatives within a specific Production area. Spend time on production floor, supporting current challenges while also identifying opportunities for improvement. Build strong relationships with production staff, leadership, and other support departments. Participate in cross-functional teams, including some project management, to advance Production capabilities. Our team’s success is crucial to the growth and continuous improvement of the Warroad location.
Responsibilities
- Support Production in meeting Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery goals

Requirements
- B.S. degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial or Manufacturing
- Strong communication skills
- Eagerness to ask questions and talk through details
- Knowledge of manufacturing principles, procedures, and technology
- Willingness to learn production processes, limitations, and challenges
