Principal Duties And Responsibilities

  • Design and implement production processes for new and existing products.
  • Perform root cause analysis of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes.
  • Design and implement production tooling, utilizing 2D & 3D software such as SolidWorks.
  • Implement productivity improvements associated with current production lines.
  • Review product designs for manufacturability and optimized processing.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure optimal productivity methods.
  • Exercise design of experiments, lean manufacturing, ROI, etc.
  • Create work instructions, statement of work, spare parts inventories, critical parts inventories, etc.
  • Implement automation, robotic, vision systems, controls integration, end of arm tooling, fixturing, gauging, machine design, etc.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience is needed.

Physical Requirements
