Manufacturing Engineer - CNC |
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer to join a growing precision manufacturing organization supporting customers across industrial, aerospace, defense, medical device, and other highly engineered markets.
About the role
This position will play a critical role in CNC programming, process optimization, and supporting ongoing growth initiatives at the company's corporate headquarters facility.
Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling and turning operations
- Program and support CNC machining centers utilizing Mastercam
- Support 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining applications
- Improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity, quality, and efficiency
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot machining challenges
- Review prints, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure manufacturability
- Support tooling selection, setup optimization, and process validation activities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout manufacturing operations
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support new and existing programs
Requirements
- Strong CNC programming experience within metal machining environments
- Proficiency with Mastercam
- Experience programming CNC lathes and/or milling equipment
- Understanding of machining processes and best manufacturing practices
- Experience supporting multi-axis machining operations preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field for candidates pursuing a Manufacturing Engineer-level role
- Leadership experience is highly valued and may create future advancement opportunities
- Experience within precision machining, aerospace, medical, industrial, or related manufacturing industries

Pay
Competitive salary ranging from $95,000 to $115,000
