What You'll Do
- Own projects through their entire lifecycle, from initial concept generation through assembly and production buy-off
- Bring up new equipment in production
- Work closely with product design team and provide feedback on design for manufacturability
- Create technical specifications for automated equipment
- Manage procurement process of new equipment
- Create detailed project schedules and provide updates to program stakeholders
- Act as central project manager and continually monitor progress of all project inputs
- Cook up coordination of assembly, validation, and final equipment buy-off
What You'll Bring
- 3 or more years of experience as a hands-on mechanical, manufacturing, or design engineer working on manufacturing systems
- Experience creating technical specifications for automated equipment
- Experience introducing new products and new processes from a prototype environment to production
- Experience with various manufacturing processes (assembly, fastening, dispensing, laser welding, electrical testing)
- Experience designing production line layouts in AutoCAD
- Proficiency designing mechanical equipment, fixturing, and tooling in SolidWorks
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
