Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects to troubleshoot and solve errors/problems on production equipment.
• Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
• Confer with manufacturing engineers and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
• Validate the development of product specifications for the purchase of equipment, materials, tooling, fixturing, or parts, according to specifications and quality standards.
• Consult the engineering team about potential suppliers for production equipment, tooling, and fixturing and contribute to the final technical choice.
• Evaluate and assist in the evolution of equipment and perform acceptance evaluation according to specification.
• Validate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs of production equipment to provide information for management decisions.
• Oversee projects for existing production and new programs using APQP and Lean principles to meet timing, budget, and performance goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 1+ years of engineering experience and leading technical projects.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Engineering.
• Experience with customer communication systems.
• Experience with engineering change systems.
• Knowledge of company products and services acquired through experience and training.
• Understanding of engineering techniques, principles, and procedures to complete difficult assignments.
