Essential Skills/Job Duties

  • Engineering Change Notice (ECN) processes, including creation, review, and approval.
  • Achieve accurate and timely implementation of changes across multiple sites.
  • Create, structure, and maintain Bills of Materials throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Maintain part numbers, revision histories, and source information within the ERP system.
  • Create, update, and maintain clear, visual, and accurate manufacturing work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and assembly guidelines in accordance with company standards.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, routing and work orders.
  • Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, quality, and production teams to resolve documentation issues and support smooth production operations.

Safety

  • Identify opportunities to streamline documentation, change processes, and product data workflows.
  • Ensure data accuracy and conduct data analysis within our ERP system (Global Shop Solutions-GSS).

Non-Essential Skills

  • Experience with manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient CAD experience designing models and components in SolidWorks (SolidWorks certification a plus).
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma.
  • Conversant in Chinese (Mandarin).

Physical Demands And Mental Demands

  • Regularly required to sit, walk, bend, stoop, and stand in a manufacturing environment.
  • Repetitively use hands & fingers to operate basic office equipment and operate hand and power tools standard to a production environment.
  • Effectively communicate in person, on phone, and via email or other electronic devices on a continual and repetitive basis.
  • Required to have vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
  • On a regular basis, will be required to use written and oral communication skills.
  • Read and interpret data, information, and documents.
  • Analyze and solve non-routine and complex problems.
  • Use judgement and sound reasoning to make decisions.
  • Learn and apply new information or skills.
  • Perform detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks.
  • Work under intensive deadlines with frequent interruptions.
  • Interact with internal customers holding positions from a wide array of disciplines and organizational hierarchy levels.
